Harry Wood Courtyard GardenAudio → | |
![]() This garden was named in honor of Harry Wood, former superintendent of grounds at Swarthmore College. The rocks found throughout the garden were personally selected by Harry from the Pocono Mountains and transported to the Arboretum. Two large river birches give light shade to the courtyard planting which features many shade-tolerant plants such as hellebores, toad-lilies, and rhododendrons.
